These two answer different questions. ASA reads the document you were sent; this checks the entity that sent it. Neither replaces the other, and using both is reasonable.

What ASA does that this does not
Reading the invoice itself catches things no lookup can: an unusual payment term, a total that does not match the line items, wording that differs from previous invoices from the same supplier. If your concern is "does this document look wrong", that is not a question this tool can answer.
What this does that ASA does not
Everything on this site is a live external check: is that VAT number registered right now, does that IBAN survive its checksum, does that name resemble anything on the EU sanctions list, and could that email domain be forged. Those answers do not exist inside the PDF — they have to be looked up.
On privacy
Using ASA means uploading a commercial document to a third party. That may be entirely fine for you; it is worth being deliberate about. This tool takes three short fields and stores none of them in full — see privacy.
